Endeavour Automotive Training offers this 26 week programme as the next step towards a successful career in the Automotive and Allied Industries.

This course follows on from the National Certificate in Motor Industry (Foundation Skills)(Level 1)

If you haven’t achieved NCEA at school but want the opportunity to get this qualification we have a specially designed course to enable you to gain NCEA at Level 2.

This course includes the required Literacy and Numeracy unit standards to gain NCEA.

You will study automotive subjects and unit standards while being assessed for Literacy and Numeracy in order to gain NCEA Level 2.

Successful completion of this certificate will give you a good grounding in motor vehicle operations and systems.

You will be able to carry out basic repairs and maintenance to light vehicles and would be able to work in a workshop under supervision.

  • Credits: 80 Credits (60 in Automotive, 20 in Literacy and Numeracy)
  • Times: Monday to Friday, from 9.00am to 4.00pm
  • Prerequisites: A reasonable standard of Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Age: 16 to 19 years old (15 year olds may be eligible, conditions apply)
  • Cost: Fees free, free boots, overalls and books provided

Student Living Allowance may be available (conditions apply)
