I found the ETT course great. I really enjoyed the diversity of the course between the practicals and theories. All our practicals were well set out and easy to follow. Endeavour is a really welcoming place, I feel as I am confident to take the next step / challenge in my career at the end of my course. My confidence rose quite a bit as I started having a real passion for metal working, and for maintaining my automotive passion throughout my time at course. Dave was a great tutor, one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve ever met in my life. Dave is someone who really has deep interests in a variety of subjects. He cares a lot about his students too, and will help you learn everything to do with a car, engine or carburetor. Dave has a lot of different teaching skills, if you don’t get it from a detailed drawing, you don’t get it from a video, he will show you hands on or get you to understand some way or another. I would recommend this course to anyone, everyone that has an interest in cars I would recommend this place to.

Endeavor technical training was a perfect stepping stone for me, as someone that knew little about the automotive industry. The staff were very accommodating to all students that were present during my time there, with different ranges of knowledge and different learning styles. Upon graduating the level 3 stage of the course my personal knowledge had grown exponentially and along with it, the confidence to work on my own vehicles and dive into the workforce right away. I had moved onto a workshop focusing more on the agricultural side of the industry which is working with tractors, mowers and all sorts of farming equipment. This work involves servicing and repairing said equipment.
I would recommend ETT to anyone who has the passion to get involved with the automotive industry, from my experience it’s a place full of people that are team orientated, as we all shared the same goal and got along really well.

For the past few years my passion has been cars but I was unsure of how to find my way into the industry. The skills and knowledge this course has provided me, within a year, has set me up for life. Coming into the course I knew practically nothing about how a vehicle functioned from the inside but within a few months I understood an engine bay like the back of my hand. Dave and the staff are some of the most honest, respectable and knowledgeable people I know and they have made it incredibly easy to absorb information both theoretically and practically. Dave is very well connected within the Manawatu automotive industry and, after a short period studying, has helped me find my way into a job at Champion Auto Services in Pahiatua, close to where I am located. This course has made it extremely easy to start work as the mechanics at my workshop need not spend as much time training me and were quickly confident to allow me to work on customers' vehicles with minimal supervision. I would definitely recommend this course as a great beginning to anyone interested in choosing the automotive industry as a career path.

Endeavour Technical Training built up my passion and love for cars. The course offers a personal, one on one teaching experience that you can't get from bigger polytechnic schools.

Dave offers personal experience and advice from the automotive industry. He is in touch with how automotive businesses work and knows how to shape the next generation of mechanics to fit it.

Jamaine Hyndman

Watson & Poole Motors

Endeavour Technical Training helped to progress my knowledge of automotive. The staff were extremely helpful as well as the students. As for me, my theory work was not the best. Dave The head tutor helped me to find different learning styles to achieve my theory work. After Graduating my level 3 I had the basic knowledge to progress my future in the automotive industry. I started working at Watson & Poole Motors. This work involves general repairs and the servicing of vehicles. I would highly recommend Endeavour Technical Training to anyone who has a passion for automotive and wants to begin their future in automotive engineering.
